Iron

I am concerned about iron, because I have had low iron in the past. So, in my research, I have been looking at vegetarian sources of iron. Here is what I have found:

  • enriched grain products like rice,
  • eggs,
  • leafy green vegetables,
  • broccoli,
  • Brussels sprouts,
  • sweet potatoes,
  • dried beans and peas,
  • raisins,
  • prunes,
  • peanuts.
So, I am going to play with my menu to see if I can come up with one that has enough iron in it.
